Life can be tough, a hassle, draining and disappointing. It can also be amazing, intriguing, and full of delightful surprises. My mysteries are fun and fast and my mission as a writer is to improve people’s lives – even if just for one moment during a crappy or stressful day. Especially then!
My love of mystery, adventure, and imaginative satire fuels my work. I’m my first customer and a dork who laughs at her own jokes. I’ve always loved this type of entertainment but gravitate to it more now because I live with chronic, incurable cancer. I’m thankful to have an enhanced perspective on the value and importance of living fully now – smelling the roses and laughing when I inhale a gnat who had the same idea. P.S. Don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere anytime soon and have many more books in me.
I earned an MFA from Goddard Collage to hone my writing skills and hang around poets and novelists. I have published over a dozen nonfiction books and a collection of creative nonfiction essays. Toxic Octopus is the first book in the Spy Shop Mystery Series and Ghost Rat is a novella and the series prequel. I am working on the second book in the series, which will be out in late 2017. Check out my blog, Mystery and Mirth, for regular updates and humorous posts.
In addition to writing fiction, I write nonfiction business books and provide consulting and speaking services in the following areas: Human resources, organization development, management, leadership, talent management, change leadership and personal and organizational success.
